Will Smith and Seven Pounds

I recently saw a entertainment blog that listed Will Smith as the number one sexiest man.
Considering that he beat out some of my personal favorites such as Denzel Washington, Shamar Moore, Blair Underwood and Idris Elba, I was not quite sure where they got their data from…

However, after having watched Will Smith in Seven Pounds, I think I can see where they are going with this.

Wow! Oh Gosh! Wow! I think this is the extent of my conversation on the way home from the movie theater after having watched Will Smith in Seven Pounds. His portrayal of a man in complete despair was quite simply astounding. It has been quite a long time since a movie has touched me so. During the movie we understand the basics of what has caused this despair, but it is not until the end we know what he is doing about it. And what an ending.

I have no desire to spoil this movie for any who have yet to see it. However, I strongly recommend that you put it high on your list of priorities. I do not think anyone would be disappointed.

If Will Smith fails to win an Oscar for this performance, I will question to the core what the Oscar’s are all about.

Two thumbs and eight fingers up to Mr Will Smith in Seven Pounds for a truly outstanding performance.
