Before getting a trampoline there are many things you need to think about. There is one thing that comes to your concern before getting a trampoline and that is the safety of the trampolines. Insecure trampolines are definitely a danger for your kids and the second thing to be concerned about is the size of the trampolines. What size trampoline should I get and would it cover the entire garden?

Trampoline safety

The safety of the trampoline seems to be on a high, because in 2002 the total number of hospital visits due to trampoline accidents was 11,500 and in 2009 the total visit was 3,000, which is a great improvement. Fortunately the UK trampoline companies are looking to decrease these accidents to the minimum. The research shows these accidents mostly occurred at home rather than sports hall or the gym.

What should you really look for when purchasing trampolines?

Always buy a trampoline which has safety nets and pads, which completely covers the frames, springs and hooks. Most trampoline accidents occur when children use it for fun activities as they do not have control over their jumps and hence they land in rough areas of hooks and frames. The safety pads should protect your children unbalanced fall.
Where should you put the trampoline?

To be honest there various sizes of trampolines you can buy from your trampoline stores depending on the size of your garden. There are - 8ft trampolines to 14ft trampolines you can choose from. If you live in a flat and do not have a garden then you may want to go for mini trampolines or rebounders. Rebounders are generally used for exercise and fitness programs and on top of that you can use this anywhere in your house from your garage to your room. You will also be able to take it away with you when you are going on a holiday so you can still carry on with your exercise regime.

Children and trampoline definitely is a risky combination but if you keep an eye on your children while using they use the trampoline the accidents can be stopped.
