We want to tell you about the problems that accompany all the organizers of the prom. Of course there are much more problems and all of them, in general, can be solved, but you should not forget about them.

Here are the top 10: security, alcohol, boredom, guests, guerrilla warfare, bad music, the program, the masses, the mania for giants, the end.

We will go over briefly on each issue.

1. Security. Aviators say that the best aircraft is one which number of takeoffs is equal to the number of landings. The best graduation party is one which number of graduates who attended the last call is equal to the number of graduates, diluted at home. It is better to entrust to the professionals all the problems of the prom, but the security must be in the first place.

2. Alcohol. The children should feel that they are adults and they are allowed to sip a little. Unfortunately, some seventeen years old macho understand the word “sip”, as “over drink”. Some graduates even boast: “I was so drunk that I do not remember the prom at all!” Do not spoil the prom for you and other people. In adult life you will have plenty of reasons to over drink, and the joy of prom will be lost forever.

3. Boredom. It is a serious danger. Think about the surprises that will animate during the evening. Remember that if people are bored at the prom, it will be too late to think up something.

4. Guests. Good guests will decorate the evening; the bad one will spoil it surely. I remember we invited a well-known poet, a graduate of our school, and she suddenly began to remember how she worked on the railroad … In my opinion none of the graduates of that year did not nearly approach to the railway.

5. Guerrilla warfare. If the class is friendly, it is easy to avoid this trap. You cannot allow separation of children into groups of interest.

6. Bad music. Consider the interests of seventeen. Do not invite rappers and symphonists, unless your school is at the conservatory. Discuss musical preferences in advance.

7. The program. It should not be prolonged (see section 3 “Boredom”), it should not be galloping (see Section 5 “guerilla”). Here I can give a lot of practical advices, but it is best to trust the professionals.

8. Masses. The whole country is celebrating a prom the same day. If your class or school will join the mass of the same graduates in the central square, quay or at the some monument, you will not collect them afterwards.

9. Gigantomania. Do not try to cover everything that was not done for 11 years for one night. The evening should contain no more than two or three large-scale projects. For example, a school - a banquet hall - a steamer, or a school - a monument - a forest, or math lesson - school cafeteria - a spaceship … But no more.

10. The end. Remember, graduation party ends by returning of all (absolutely!) pupils at home.Do not relax prematurely.

Believe me, graduation has many pitfalls, to be absolutely accurate - 247, but there is a true and universal way to deal with all - trust the professionals!
