By the way some models tend to become detailed copies of their real prototypes, copying up to the size of the rivets on turrets and color of belts. I’d like to inform you that the first set of models to be assembled appeared in England in 1932. The first model was the flying model of the aircraft Supermarine S6B. As you know the main materials used in home modeling are either plastic or cardboard.

Most probably besides modeling different vehicles you are likely to try modeling famous battles. Of course in this case I mean sets of static models composing the entire scene from our history. To model these scenes people mostly apply such scales as 1:35, although there are also scenes in scale 1:16, 1:32 and 1:72. As for the basic requirements for depicting static historical scenes are your an artistic vision, detailed copies of different historical features, quality painting techniques and so on. For your modeling you can use plastic and rubber though nobody can forbid you using other materials. I don’t doubt that you’ll be greatly delighted by modeling.
