Celebrities Use Their Fame And Power To Attract Attention To Some Problems

There are a lot of celebrities that use their fame to attract more attention to some of the problems such as global warming. Some of the famous people take much effort to create the best documentaries on particular topics that are considered to be burning issues in present society. For example, there is a project called “Global Cool” that is aimed at informing people about all of the actions that might hurt the environment. Besides, one of the main aims was getting people to lower the carbon emissions we regularly put into the environment since it has huge effects on the Earth’s climate. There are a lot of celebrities that have become involved into that project with the initiative. Among them are Leonardo DiCaprio, Josh Hartnett, pink and many others.

As I have already mentioned Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the famous celebrities who joined the movement. What is more, he has a website that is devoted to the topic of global warming. Besides, he worked on some films that also display that problem. The first film is called “Water Planet” and the other one is called “Global Warming”. There are some other documentary films DiCaprio worked on since he tried to attract attention of the public all over the world. He realizes the fact that certain steps have to be taken to avoid a global catastrophe. In 1998 the actor started own foundation that was aimed at persuading people to become members of the organizations that are believed to be environmentally friendly. This foundation informs people about different reasons for global warming.

There are a lot of actors who join the movement aimed at stopping global warming. Brad Pitt is one of them. First of all he is known for being a narrator of the series on green architecture. In that show different ways of creating eco-friendly buildings are discussed. One more film that attracted our attention is documentary “The Great Warming”. It features all of the climatic changes during past centuries. A lot of celebrities found this film really interesting and acknowledgeable. There are also a lot of celebrities who give their speeches on Earth Day.

Some of the politicians also attract attention of the society to the most serious problems concerning environmental protection. There are a lot of organizations that are aimed at informing people of the most serious problems and at the same time providing with possible solutions. It is great that a lot of celebrities and politicians use their fame and power to increase awareness of all the people. As a result they create a lot of documentaries and other interesting films. They also create different organizations that attract people all over the world. All these steps are necessary for the society.
