We all know that celebrities have very tight and often unpredictable schedules. They are always on the go. Such a hardcore singer as Ozzy Osborne turned out to be crazy about dogs. The Osbornes have about 18 dogs now. Some of them are stray dogs which were given shelter at their mansion in Beverly Hills. They have also some pooches. But Ozzy’s favorite was a Pomeranian called Minnie. He was devastated when Minnie was attacked by a coyote. Who would think that he is so softhearted when it comes to little fluffy dogs! The Osbornes love their dogs and they spend thousands of dollars on clothes and accessories for their favorites. They pamper those lucky dogs in every possible way.

There is also an old tradition for American Presidents to have a pet. In all times it would be called the First Pet. Isn’t that honorable! Once President Obama was elected, everybody wanted to know who the First Pet is now. Who is that lucky creature to live in the White House? And what a surprise! No pets at all! Anyways, this has not prevented him to be elected President of the United States.

Oprah Winfrey is also one of the greatest pet lovers! She is so attached to her two Cocker spaniels Sophie and Salomon that she often calls them her children.

Celebrities and their pets is a very interesting and voluminous topic to discuss. Some celebrities are so crazy about their animals that they fight for animal rights protection and donate huge amounts to organize animal shelters. The information about celebrities and their pets often hits the news. Sometimes pets become a part of the custody battle if celebrities break up or divorce.
