Brean is located near Burnham on Sea in the UK. Brean Leisure Park is undergoing new construction of swimming pool and cinema which will cost around £3 million. This is going to be one of the most expensive swimming pools in England. There will also be a 4D cinema built near the pool but not sure if they will be using the money out of the £3million.

They are saying the launch of the new swimming pool will be in Easter next year at 2011 as the construction of the pool just got started in March 2010. The owner of Leisure Park, Richard House has said that the pool will have 6 lanes and it will be 25 metre long with new changing rooms. It will be open in winter as well as summer for schools, colleges and groups. In my opinion it is a good idea to keep it open all year long. They will also create splash pad for youngsters along with water play area for older children. They will be changing the existing indoor pool to changing rooms, fitness suite, new cafe and a 4D cinema.

I am certainly looking forward to the new 25 metre long pool. As I am a clean freak my only concern is how would they clean this huge pool? The people they allocated to clean this pool will have a difficult jobs in their hand. The amount of money they will need to spend in swimming pool equipments and swimming pool heaters will be huge as they want to open it in winter too. They are also planning to get automatic pool cleaners to clean the water in regular basis, which will be a handy equipment.

Recently Mr House was quote saying he is happy with the progress of the new pool and the current existing outdoor and indoor pools will remain open till the new pool is opened next year.
