Louisa Mark in Life and Death

Singing legioned and the undisputed queen of Lover’s Rock Ms. Louisa “Markswoman” Mark passed from this world yesterday, Saturday October 17, 2009, and in her wake she has left many with a heavy heart.

Born in Shepherd’s Bush in London in 1960, Louisa Mark made her first recording at the tender age of 15. In 1975 she recorded “Caught You In A Lie”. This was an instant hit in the reggae genre and is still considered to be the first Lover’s Rock single. During her life, Louisa Mark blessed this world with the beauty of her person as well as her amazing voice. For more than twenty five years she has shared song after song that created memories and feelings of affection.

With the release of ” Six Sixth Street” in 1978 and “Hello There” in 1984, Louisa Mark will forever be remembered and have a place in our hearts. Louisa Marks’ person has left this world. Her life and soul will remain through her music. We will forever continue to celebrate the gift we were given in Louisa Mark and forever hear her voice in the music she gave to us.

Although we mourn her death, we celebrate her life. She has given us so much of herself to hold on to and cherish forever. I ask all of you to join me in celebrating the life of Louisa Mark as together we mourn her death.

R.I.P Louisa Mark, You are gone but you will never be forgotten.

Chris Brown Sentenced!

The Excitement New York Dance Clubs Offer.

Jonas Brothers World Concerts Tour 2009 Update

Hey all you JB fans.  Just to get us prepared for the world concerts tour 2009 here are a select listing of a few of their upcoming concert dates.

July 11, 2009 they will be at the Allstate Arena in Chicago Il.  July 13, 2009 will be at the Verizon Center in Washington, July 17th The Jonas Brothers will be in Boston appearing at the TD Banknorth Garden.  July 20th finds them at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.   August 7th and 8th they will perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles,  August 19th brings them to the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale Florida., and August 20th they will visit Atlanta Georgia and perform at the Philips Arena. 

Get busy and book those dates, tickets are going fast.
